1790’s curb appeal why not stay at our charming, one-of-a-kind place. Only two minutes walk from Sandgate beach & 5 minutes from Embrook park trail. Comfortable relaxing accommodation with everything you need. Centrally located on Sandgate High Street with its village shops, pubs & restaurants.
General store 2 doors up along with a bus stop for Folkestone or the other way for Hythe. Lovely walks in either direction. Perfectly placed to explore Kents wonderful beaches & county side.
The living space:
Upstairs there are two nice bedrooms:
One large with king size bed (very firm mattress) bedroom furniture & 40 inch TV.
The other is a pretty room with sea view, double bed (medium mattress) bedroom furniture & 32 inch TV.
On the ground floor are the living areas:
Dinning room, living room, kitchen, bathroom & small courtyard for you to enjoy a home from home escape.
Also in the cellar there is a washing machine should you wish to use it.

Sandgate Neighbourhood:
There is alot to see and do here with Sandgate being the perfect place to have a base and see Folkestone and the surrounding areas. There is a bus a few steps from the house which can take you into Folkestone, Canterbury, hythe and Dungeness. You can cycle or walk all the way from Sandgate to Folkestone via the leas cliff top walk or along the beach.
There are cafes on the way and the wonderful mermaid beach. With the lovely little rock restaurant and pilot for coffee or drinks on the way, sit in a wurlitzer beside the palm trees & drift away. If is a Sunday there is a great craft Market in the old train station besides the harbour arm. The Harbour Arm has lots of activity the goods yard for eating & drinks plus a large screen. Nearby there is sunny sands a beautiful sandy beach.
Your near town and the creative Quarter Folkestone area of town for more shops including vintage and hand made. If you have energy left there is The Warren with its gorgeous sandy bay, a trek on a windey pathway, but it’s worth it. In the other direction Hythe with its lovely high street or to Dungeness nature reserve or possible even further to gorgeous Rye
