The location was incredible. The views, the ability to take a morning walk on the college grounds, the breakfast… Bed was incredibly comfortable and everything was always clean. I’m glad I decided to stay there.

Superb - in a college refectory that rather resembled a church and we were surrounded by historical paintings and indeed history. Selection of breakfast foods very good. What a beautiful place to spend the night!

Property information

Wadham College is located in the centre of the City, set in stunning 17th Century grounds. The famous King’s Arms pub is right next door on Parks Road, with the Bodleian Library, Broad Street & Ashmolean Museum a few minutes’ walk away. Breakfast is served in the stunning Hall with Continental & Full English on offer during your stay. Many of the the College bedrooms are located on 2nd & 3rd floors & are accessed with steep staircases & may not suit those with mobility challenges. We welcome and celebrate academic excellence, diversity and independence and we aim for our students to find comfort and challenge in equal measure, forming a life-long bond with us. Aside from academic life, the College has a huge range of clubs and societies, ranging from the usual sports to martial arts, politics, science and yoga, and we have a thriving Wadham Human Rights Forum that attracts national figures to the College every term. Wadham is also the home of the Holywell Music Room, the oldest purpose-built music room in Europe, and is used for a wealth of musical activities all year round.

Neighbourhood information

Wadham is situated in the heart of Oxford and is easily reached with excellent transport links to the city. The College is an ideal base to discover the city with Museums, sister colleges and points of interest all within minutes walk. Oxford has a plethora of great restaurants and bars, and is close to the newly opened Westgate Shopping Centre. Why not visit Oxford for it's magical Christmas Market from Dec 1st - Dec 18th 2022
