Property information
Wanslea is a 4 star guest house on the south side of Ambleside. We offer all ensuite accommodation and luxury rooms are available with spa bathrooms. We offer our guests the choice between our very comfortable standard rooms or premier rooms.
We are 6 to 7 minutes walk from the centre of the town and 3 to 4 minutes from the lake. Wanslea has been featured in the 'Times' and is recommended by the Lake District Guide.
Ambleside is in the heart of the English Lake District and is famous for some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK, there are many lakes to explore. Windermere offers many types of boat trip and is only a few hundred yards away from Wanslea. Fell walks start close by and can be as energetic or easy as you like.
The District is also famous for the 'Lakes Poets' and most of the houses they used to live in are open to the public, Beatrix Potters former house is only 20 minutes away.
