The flat is owned by a good friend of mine Steve. It was his home for a long time so it has the cosy touches of a home instead of just a rental property. I manage the flat for him, as his work often takes him away from Cornwall, so I shall be your contact during your stay. My number will be sent to you upon booking.

Please don't be put off by a lack of reviews, we have been welcoming guests to this apartment for years, and we have to date 750 reviews with an average score of 4.83, you can look it up on Airbnb to check! We have only just listed the apartment on this platform! This is a lovely spacious but cosy apartment, perfect for 2 guests looking to hide away somewhere in the heart of Falmouth, with gated parking & outside seating area overlooking the harbour. It's clean, warm and comfortable, but also (hopefully) tastefully kitted out with some home comforts, including a very comfortable king size Vi-Spring bed. For rainy days, there's the pubs and cafes but also the telly with access to Sky...plus a variety of board games...not to mention the bookshelf. Lastly, if you enjoy a good coffee (I get the capsules from Roar Gill), there's a nice Nespresso machine here to be used. Guests will have access to the flat, the deck area, plus there's also private access to the water from the car park area (down some little steps) which would be perfect for kayakers or paddle boarders. The apartment is on the second floor with lift access. Parking is inside the gated area at the start of the Prince of Wales Pier. You'll feel special with access to this private area whilst everyone else fights for car parking space in town! Train-wise, you'd need to get off at Falmouth Town (Dell), then it's a 10 minute level walk. Coaches drop at The Moor which is 3 mins walk

Neighbourhood information

For sunny days, there are many activities, safe in the knowledge that your car doesn't need to move after x number of hours. Regular activities on the main town squares are within easy walking distance, boat trips from the pier are on your doorstep, & the ferry to St Mawes less than 100 metres away. Falmouth is a year-round vibrant town, unique to Cornwall in that there is the omnipresent university crowd who give the area its energy. Several great beaches, countless good eateries, river cruises, fishing trips, walking routes of any length, pubs-a-plenty, and near to any number of days out...this town really is a great centre for a Cornish break. Occasionally however, due to the central location & being a university town, it can get a bit noisy at kicking out time, but you can't hear a thing from the lounge at all. That said, I've lived in city centres before and this is Falmouth's version of noisy, not really 'noisy' noisy! The vast majority of reviews and comments from guests don't mention anything, but just in case, Steve has listened to feedback, and has invested in a very comfy sofa bed for the lounge area, in case of light sleepers! We also provide ear plugs
