A self contained large bright and airy studio room with en-suite shower room and a lovely patio area, private garden and designated parking space, the studio is not suitable for disabled guests with walking difficulties . Set in the beautiful village of Porlock in Exmoor National Park . The studio is in a lovely secluded spot set back from the High Street of Porlock with a delightful range of local independent eateries and shops all only a short walk from the door, together with some fantastic walks and spectacular scenery. There is a fabulous choice of things to see and do in the area which we would be delighted to help you with.

We are delighted to welcome our guests to our beautiful studio space, set in the gardens behind our lovely Tearoom, we are only to pleased to assist in anyway we can to make your stay an enjoyable one, our freshly prepared English Breakfast is served in the tearoom at the front of the building each morning. Our Tearoom is open Tueday to Saturday 10.30am - 4.30pm where we serve a selection of hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes, light lunches, delicious cream teas with the local special Whortleberry jam - well worth trying ! We can also help to suggest places to visit and things to do. We can provide packed lunches by prior arrangement.

There are a range of restaurants and public houses within a short walking distance, we also have a lovely mix of independent local shops and galleries should you fancy a browse around the village. There is a Visitors Centre five minutes walk from our door with lots of interesting local information available, we are only a short distance from Porlock Wier which has the second highest tidal range in the world and lovely views of the Bristol channel, just up the hill to the side of us takes you into the beautiful Exmoor National Park and over to interesting areas such as The Lorna Doone valley and the lovely coastal towns of Lynmouth and Lynton linked by a cliff side railway - well worth a visit, together with the amazing Valley of the Rocks. Six miles to the east of Porlock is the seaside town of Minehead with its numerous shops and attractions, together with the amazing West Somerset Steam Railway, 20 mile route along the coast and inland between the hills to Bishops Lydeard, a fabulous way to experience the area.
