Market Weighton, 20 miles from York, is one of the most important market towns in the Yorkshire Wolds. Market Weighton hosts a weekly farmers' market in addition to various Georgian and Victorian structures, including an 18th century coaching inn. A classic village green with a duck pond may be found within the town. There are numerous stores, taverns, and restaurants in this little town. The long-distance Yorkshire Wolds Way national trail runs through the town, which is flanked by gently rolling chalk hills.
