The property is situated at the foot of the Yair Forest in the heart of the Tweet Valley. The accommodation is housed in a traditional stone cottage, with its original features preserved. The interiors are maintained in a rustic cottage style, creating a true country living atmosphere. The accommodation consists of a private entrance at the rear of the property, a living/bedroom area with a double bed, a small study or office space, a kitchen, a shower room with a toilet, and a yoga exercise area. Parking is available next to the main road, just outside the property.
We value your privacy and the booking system we have in place is self check in. We are available on site or via app to answer any questions.
The Cottage is located next to the main road A707, at the foot of a hill covered with vast forest. In front of us is the Yair Bridge, which was constructed by a previous resident of the Cottage. The bridge is a beautiful feature of the area, offering stunning views of the River Tweed. Just on the other side of the river, there is a fishery where you can enjoy hours of quality time by the riverside. We are surrounded by countless walking trails. Within a 5-minute drive, you can access the nearest restaurant, and within 10 minutes, you can reach Galashiels. We are in the heart of nature while still being close to civilization, just at our doorstep.
