The accommodation is located in a beautiful neighborhood where within a radius of 100 meters you can find AB supermarket mini market daily open until late at night Petrou and Pavlou square with playground and tavern! Right next to the apartment there is a gym and cafeteria!!! The bus stop to Chalkida center or to Artaki is outside and across the garden! At the entrance to Chalkida, the new impressive cable (suspension) bridge welcomes you. The old drawbridge, Evripos Bridge, is the point where you can watch the magical walk of the "crazy waters". The waters of the Evripos channel, a narrow strip of sea that is 39 meters wide and 40 meters long, change direction every 6 hours and move one to the North and one to the South. This is a unique and impressively complex phenomenon that is due to tidal forces and is observed only there. A walk with a scent of history… The mansions of the beach will catch your attention. At the end of the sidewalk, the emblematic Red House. Don't forget to take a walk in the district of Agia Paraskevi to visit the church of Agia Paraskevi, a Byzantine temple rebuilt by the Venetians in the 14th century. A few streets further on you will also see the Emir Zadeh mosque with its impressive dome, the only mosque in the city that has survived to this day. It is worth climbing up to the Castle of Karababa, on the verdant hill above the city, to enjoy the view of the Euboean Gulf. It was completed in 1684 and prevented Francesco Morosini from conquering Chalkida during the Venetian-Turkish war. The ramparts of the castle are the best spot to enjoy the magnificent view of the bay.
