In a property, 18 min by car from the port of Tinos, over the west coast , in an olive grove, surrounded by big rocks and a view on the Aegean sea, there is a 55 sq.m. eco - friendly house. It is the result of redesigning an old farmhouse following minimal style. The space is designed to host the vacation of a couple who loves country living and privacy. This is for people who need a disconnection from the city, connection with the simplicity and tranquility of nature and mindfulness. This is a totally new house with a bathroom, a bedroom and a long open kitchen and living room. Our long sofa bed is made out of mattresses so as two extra people to be able to sleep. The house is supported by a solar panel system and water is provided by a natural spring so we would wish guests to see that as a unique experience to consider the necessary use of both electricity and water or be aware when using many electrical devices at the same time. Also for winter travellers be aware that if there is lack of sunshine there will be lack of hot water.

I am an architect and designer. I live in Athens and often travel to Tinos. I love traveling either abroad or at places of natural beauty in Greece. Rose - Marie is my mother and Thomas my father who live on the island, both have been traveling a lot and adore taking care of their plants and flowers, family, friends and guests. Hospitality has always been extremely important for Cycladic culture and we have always loved offering hospitality. We love music and good food - our family gardens produce fruits and vegetables and the marmalades, vine and other delicatessens provided at the house are all made by them. This is a house in an olive grove, in nature with a beautiful view to the sea. There is only one more house two minutes away - next to an old path which leads to a fantastic isolated beach. Close to the property there is a monument of an ancient tower - Avdos tower. Please be aware that access to the house for the last 300 meters becomes through a farming road. We give more details about it below. You will certainly need a car if you would like to enjoy the beauties of the island and reach the house. However there is a bus with a destination to Pyrgos by which someone can reach the property after 10 min walk as well. For those having a car there is a parking area outside the property.
