d&d Holiday Studios are on the sea front of Potos, a cosmopolitan village in the south western part of Thassos. It is a small family run business with four apartments, located in a quiet area, between two beaches both of which are ideal for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. The picturesque port of Potos (in front of d&d Holiday Studios) is a fisherman’s delight and ideal for the afternoon stroll. All the shopping facilities of the village (supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants etc.) are not more than 300 metres from us. Free public parking is available in front of the studios.
Potos is a fantastic seaside village on the south west of Thassos that has over the years become one of the most popular destinations when on the island. What was once a small fishing village has now become a cosmopolitan tourist attraction. It satisfies all the desires – long sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, fish taverns and other restaurants, cafeterias and beach bars line the shore and could serve as the starting point for all excursions around the island. The relaxing atmosphere that prevails during the day converts into a music filled night life as the sun goes down. It is a place that fulfils the needs of all – families, couples and even big groups of friends. Thassos is an island with many beaches of all kinds – sandy, rocky, pebbles, some with waves others without – all with crystal clear waters that you can explore and enjoy.
