The quaint little village house, belonging to the family since three generations, has been redecorated and adapted to accommodate up to four guests. The soft earthen colours and minimalist decor give warmth and airiness to the place, yet some few items, such as the kitchen curtains, the bedroom dressing table and some paintings echo the presence of the one-time numerous greek family life. From the front door, you enter into the small, yet fully equipped kitchen with its four-seat dining table. There is one master bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds that can be joined into a double bed. The shared bathroom has a shower and washing machine. Upon arrival, the landlady Dimitra prepares a generous welcome treat and you’ll find everything you need to make your stay carefree.

Gimari village is situated on the picturesque North Eastern Coast Road, favoured by villa owners. It is a 50min drive from Corfu Airport and the town of Corfu and only a 10min drive from the bustling village of Kassiopi; a great place for shopping and entertainment. The closest beaches are Kalami at a 5min drive, or Yaliskari at a 10min hike through a forest path down the hill. Many of the other bays and beaches on the North East Coast are accessible at a short 10-20min drive, and the North Coast sandy beaches are at a 20-30min drive. Gimari is a small residential village. There is a clear neighbourly feel about it, and yet, the houses have been built in such a way that they enjoy absolute privacy. It is ideal to enjoy a peaceful holiday, far from the city buzz and crowds, yet a short drive from amenities, beaches and entertainment. Note that there are no shops in Gimari itself, so you would need a car, which you park on the main road, at a 50metre walking distance from the house.
