We have always enjoyed welcoming our friends to our family house in our home village. And their friends. And their friend’s friends. Friends we had not yet met. Looking back, they are surely a few hundred people. For a few days, a weekend, or for just one night. And then, of course, there is the carnival, which always makes the average number of visitors go through the roof. there was the house belonging to our grandparents as well. In the middle of a neighborhood where everyone stopped to take photos but where all houses were in ruins. Ruins have a beauty of their own, but a living home is much better. That’s the story of how the house turned into a guesthouse. Imbued by respect for our land’s tradition, we restored the house, bringing it back to its original form, thus making the residence regain its initial form as much as possible. The innovative elements were not difficult to decide on.

Gileri Eco & Design Residences is a guest house in Greece that was born when traditional architecture met modern design and minimal aesthetics in the mountains of Arcadia. Its three residences reintroduced Arcadian simplicity into hospitality. Blending in with the unique architecture of this traditional Greek village, the visitor is sumerged into the atmosphere of the authentic Lagadia dwelling. The comfortable living room, quality furniture and upholstery, and the unique character of each residence guarantee visitors a relaxing and restful stay. The residences are fully equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, games and books for all ages. You will never want to leave!

Neighbourhood information

Once, in a village in the mountainous area of Gortynia, the teacher asked his pupils: - Who built the world? - It was the people of Lagadia with their donkeys”, the pupils responded. The Arcadian village of Lagadia has been declared a traditional settlement. Amphitheatrically built at an altitude of 500 and 1000 meters, it is rightly called the “suspended village” It is one of the most beautiful mountainous villages in the Peloponnese, renowned for its stonemasons, who travelled not only the Peloponnese but the entire country, building houses, churches, and bridges.
