KaleKapi is a brand new reconstructed property located right at the heart of the city of Chania. The name “KaleKapi” comes after the name of this central city spot during the Ottoman occupation. Kale (castle) Kapi (gate) name designates that right at this spot was the main entrance to the old Venetian fortification of the city of Chania. This place has been under renovation during last year with main objective to maintain its neoclassical characteristics, to respect the traditional architectural forms and at the same time to embed modern architectural perspectives and provide integrated personalized hospitality services. KaleKapi is divided into two apartments: • Studio Eutychia, the ground floor apartment, is large, has high ceilings and original handmade tile parquet. This studio is a mixture of discreet elegance and comfort. • Studio Artemis, a 2-floor apartment with a loft. This is a large, cosy apartment, with wooden ceilings and wooden parquet floor. Loft Stamatis, is the perfect place in the house to relax. The big terrace of the suite is the ideal place to enjoy your coffee or your meal with a view to the central marketplace, city’s ultimate contemporary monument .
