Ploes Luxury Cottages consist of two independent dwellings set in 6000m2 of beautiful gardens! Retaining their charming Kefalonian farmhouse exteriors the cottages have been drawn seamlessly into the 21st century with pared-back contemporary interiors. Christiana, the owner, is an archeologist with an eye for detail and a flair for interior design. She has carefully selected high quality furniture, soft furnishings and linens for luxurious comfort. The cottages provide the perfect luxury retreat built in spacious gardens with varied fruit trees (figs, walnut, pomegranate, lemon, oranges and olive), vineyards and flowers. Nestled above the cliffs overlooking the amazing cove of Pessada the cottages are within close proximately to the sea so guests can enjoy a cool breeze through the trees and in the evening can delight in the night sky. The two cottages can be used together for friends and family or rented independently. There is a private entrance and drive to each of the properties; they are situated at 70m apart. Both properties have fully fitted kitchens making self-catering easy and enjoyable, even for the most demanding guests.

My name is Christiana, I am an archaeologist living mainly in Athens. Ploes Luxury Cottages are two farmhouses in a peaceful corner of Pessada village, renovated with a lot of love and care in 2020. My aim is to warmly welcome my guests and create a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. The furniture, equipment and decoration are selected with extra care to provide you with luxury and comfort. Ploes Luxury Cottages is located in the traditional village of Pessada retaining a feeling and atmosphere of the past. The cottages are within walking distance to a local canteen serving snacks, a basic mini-market (the big supermarkets are just 4km drive) and to the small fishing port of Pessada that serves the ferry to neighboring Zante. There are some more day boat trips offered in the area as well and many other amazing beaches and attractions close-by such as St Thomas, Trapezaki and Spartia, the airport and Argostoli (the capital) are also very close. Just on your doorstep along a stone staircase footpath you can reach Vrissi beach, if you continue over the rocks you can visit the beautiful, small, sandy beach of Ammos.
