Company information

I love hosting and meeting new people. I can help guests book a car from the airport to the port of Lavrio, I can help by booking their ferry boat tickets. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats a day going to and from the island, but unfortunately the ferry boat companies do not release the times of the boats till about the end of March. I have managed to get the times by early January. I can also help by renting a car on the island for guests. I do not charge a fee for any of the above. I can also give tips on restaurants, places to visit etc., I can also arrange for a pre stocked fridge if guests wish.

Property information

The house is on the waterfront with easy access to the beach of Otzia. The front part of the house was built 200 years ago and though renovated, maintains its original charm. Guests just have to open the front gate, take a few steps and dive into the blue waters of Otzia. Just 100 meters away is a nice Greek restaurant and another 100 meters away. An ideal house for those that just want to lay back and relax. The house has a large kitchen area with a sofa, fireplace and a dining table for four. There is also a large bedroom with a double bed and a modern bathroom. The second bedroom is part of the original house with its curved stone ceiling and half a meter thick walls, 2 single beds and the original fireplace, where family meals were cooked 100 years ago. Attached to the house is a small room with a second bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. Outside there is a large terrace with covered seating and dining areas, where one can sit and enjoy the sea view. Amenities: Flat screen TV, internet, WiFi, parking, air-conditioning, solar panels for hot water, heating, cable TV, refrigerator, oven, hobs, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and much more

Neighbourhood information

Near the house are two Taverns, maximum 5 minutes by foot. The beach of Otzia has an organized section, with umbrellas and sunbeds about 150 meters from the house. In front of the house it is not organized but we provide you with beach chairs. 5 minutes by car is the picturesque marina of Vourkari, with its well known restaurants, bars and cafes. For those that like scuba diving, at Vourkari there is a scuba diving office that you can arrange trips with. The main town of Ioulida is well worth a visit, with its cobbled streets, no cars are allowed in the town. Koundouros in the south of the island has water sports.
