Enjoy Athens just like the locals do!

Neighbourhood information

We are located on the pedestrian near Aiolou. Aiolou Street is a historical central paved road connecting Omonia Square with Ermou Street. Its name derives from the ancient Greek god of the winds, Aeolus. It is no coincidence that, up until this day, guests will encounter the Tower of the Winds at the street's end. Constructed in 1833, Aiolou is one of the oldest streets in Athens. When the street was pedestrianized in 2003, parts of the ancient fortification of Athens, which was made of limestone, were discovered. Aiolou used to be the street of textiles, as there used to be several textile shops there. Today, you’ll find all kinds of shops on Aiolou Street, including fashion shops, cafes, restaurants and patisseries. The street is ideal for a walk on a sunny day and is considered the paradise of street food, as in Aiolou you can taste delicious international street food, from burgers to falafels!
