Szöcske Guesthouse is located close to the town centre but still at a quiet place. The old town, bicycle road and Danube beach can be reached easily by foot. Public transport is available in two minutes by walk, and the thermal bath of Leanyfalu is 6 minutes and Visegrád is 25 minutes by car. The guesthouse is a detached house that is brand new, modern, well-supplied with an air-conditioned studio apartment, cafe-balcony, a casual terrace for relaxation and with barbecue facilities in the garden. Bicycles are available for my guests free of charge. Each of my female guests will receive a self-made hand-crafted glass jewellery as a gift. Come here once and you will always long to come back.
Szentendre is a picturesque small town on the banks of the Danube, 15 km from Budapest. This town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Hungary, the pearl of the Danube bend and the town of artists. It enchants everyone with its beautiful old town, colourful houses with a baroque atmosphere, Serbian churches, narrow alleys and its main square. Szentendre and its surroundings offer several programs for the visitors. Everyone can choose from the possibilities according to their interest: cultural programmes, festivals, hiking, visiting the historical castle, water sports, bath visits, having fun.
