Located on the North coast of Bali, in a relatively remote, unspoiled, and unpolluted area, well away from the main tourist hubs, Agung Bali Nirwana (ABN) is our oasis within an eden. We are a 45 minute drive from the former capital, Singaraja, 90 minutes from Ubud, and Ngurah Rai International Airport is a beautiful 2.5-3 hours drive away. We are part of the small Hindu village of Sambirenteng and all our staff are from our village. You can do as little or as much as you want here. Rest and relax in our infinity-edge pool overlooking the Bali Sea at our front, or explore the myriad roads and trails that meander up the volcano, Mt. Batur, at our back. We have 3 identical villas, each furnished with modern amenities and comforts. Each villa has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 guests. Our property also boasts a shared freeform infinity edge pool perched right over the Bali Sea. Guests that come to stay with us, do so for the serenity, remoteness, privacy and romantic setting that our location provides, not to mention personalized services and pampering provide by our staff. The majority of our guests come to stay with us to get away from their hectic lives back home. Literally at our door steps is a spectacular living coral reef (our house reef), that offers great opportunities for our guests to step out of their villa and right into the welcomingly warm Bali Sea for snorkeling or sea kayaking (we have two sea kayaks). We are located RIGHT ON THE WATER but our "beach" is tidal and NOT a sandy beach. When the tide is IN, the water is at our seawall; when the tide is OUT the "beach" is rock and coral from a few meters to 25 meters out (depending on the tide). The seabed near the shore in our area is mostly pebbles, rocks and coral. At our property the water is 1-1.5 meters deep for about 30-50 meters from shore then gradually drops to 3 meters…6 meters…and then down into the dark depths. With a simple mask, snorkel and fins, in seconds you can be swimming among the coral and the tropical fish that abound here. Unlike most private villa holiday rentals on Bali, we operate legally and are fully licensed. Not only do we pay our fair share of taxes, but we also are an integral part of our village, where all of our staff are from, and contribute to our community as a full fledged member.
