Inspired by the love of creative design we have combined western comfort, Batak Karo architecture and traditional jungle style with a dream location. This definitely makes our EcoTravel Cottages the most atmospheric of all hotels in Bukit Lawang.
Jasanta Sitepu, head of EcoTravel Cottages & tour operator EcoTravel Bukit Lawang, is a specialist in the Gunung Leuser Park. He is deeply commited to the conservation of the environment and the well-being of local people and wildlife in this region.
Bukit Lawang is most famous for being one of the last places on earth where you can see orangutans and also the main access point to the Gunung Leuser National Park. EcoTravel Bukit Lawang operates all tours & treks from its base in this village.
