Gate to Nature is a guesthouse with 3 rooms, 1 of which is on the first floor of the main house/warung-resto. This room has a balcony on 2 sides with beautiful views of the mountains and the river. The other 2 rooms are located 50 meters away from the main house/warung-resto. These are situated on the ground floor but are higher up on a hill so that you can also enjoy the beautiful view from these rooms. The host, his wife and 2 daughters are very friendly and service-oriented. They are happy to help you and provide you with information about activities, surroundings and all other possible questions. They can help with organizing transport, shuttle to/from the airport, trekking, reservations for workshops etc. In the warung-resto they serve coffee, tea and fruit juice all day long and you can order a simple authentic indonesian meal such as nasi goreng, nasi, noodles, indomie goreng, kentang goreng, vegatable curry, ayam/vegatable semur etc.

Gate to Nature is located on the Landak River. From the guesthouse you have direct access to the jungle. In consultation, the host can organize a 1 or multi-day trekking to the jungle to see wild plants, trees and animals, including monkeys and orangutans.
