Welcome to The Mahaloka, our soulful, adults-only (16+) sanctuary designed for peace and reconnection. What makes us unique? We are not a typical hotel or a 100% private villa. We are an intimate, shared property centered around two stunning, two-story "lumbung" (traditional rice barn) villas. What guests can expect (Your Villa): Your lumbung is your "personal haven." It features a main-floor living area and a "Refreshment Corner" (minibar, microwave, coffee/tea), but no full kitchen. An internal staircase leads to your beautiful king loft bedroom. What guests can expect (The Property): The lumbungs are centered around our "shared realm"—a beautiful garden, an 11m free-form pool with sun loungers, and a communal fire pit, all shared by our few like-minded guests. We built this as a vessel for peace, anchored by our ancient Neem tree. We are a quiet haven just a 350m walk from Padang Padang beach.

We call ourselves "The Custodians" of this property. We didn't want to just build on the land; we wanted to build with it. You'll notice our ancient Neem tree is the heart of the property, and we've preserved a natural cave on the land as a sacred temple. We ask our guests to join us in this philosophy by respecting the land, the quiet "sanctuary" atmosphere, and the temple (which we ask you to enjoy from a respectful distance, as it is an active place of offering). We are here to help you curate the perfect "soulful" Uluwatu experience, from in-villa massage to surf lessons.

Our location offers the "best of both worlds". We are a quiet, peaceful sanctuary, but we are not in the middle of nowhere. We are located in the heart of Padang Padang, just a 350m walk from the entrance to the world-famous Padang Padang beach. You are just a 2-5 minute scooter ride from Uluwatu's other iconic beaches (Bingin, Thomas Beach), world-class cafes, wellness studios (yoga, padel), and the sacred Uluwatu Temple. We are also the peaceful, adults-only heart of the future Ulu Paradise Lifestyle Village (UPLV), which will soon feature restaurants and shops right at our doorstep.
