We have 3 Beautiful over the water bungalows built from traditional materials joined by wooden bridges. There is a long jetty with an outdoor dining area & fresh water shower. Meals are included with your stay which are made fresh daily, focusing on local cuisine. Snorkel from the jetty or we can take you on snorkeling trips to Cape Kri, Frewin wall, Yenbuba Jetty or to Frewin beach. The area is stunning, with turquoise water surrounding the homestay, visibility is perfect for snorkeling - Please bring your snorkeling gear. The sun sets in front of the bungalows nightly. If you would like to do some diving you can arrange directly with a nearby dive resort - Tarzan diving.
We are a local Papua family that live onsite at the homestay. This our home and we are happy to show you around the area by longboat. I love to cook! I serve tasty local meals with local fish (vegetarian options available) 3 meals daily are included with your stay. Please let me know if you have any dietary preferences before your stay. We have a longboat to take you on day trips to special areas, villages, snorkelling spots & bird of paradise birdwatching.
The area is stunning, with turquoise water surrounding the homestay. This is a very quiet area, wake up to the sound of local birds. The homestay is 40 minutes longboat ride from Waisai. We can pick you up from the Waisai ferry Charge- Rp550.000. if you would like to do some bird watching to see the bird of paradise we can also arrange this early morning walk for you charge Rp350.000 per person. You can walk to the village from the homestay via a small track.
