In a nice old very quiet and grown neighborhood we have a lovely and comfortable apartment, within a 5 minute walking from the center of town, the swimming pool or the shopping mall.
The apartment has one bedroom with a new queen size bed and there we also add a one man bed when needed. There is also a living room with a big sofa and a TV with multiple cable channels and much more.
Fully equipped kitchen. The Hallway has a computer with internet connection and Wi-Fi is also included.
Just in front of the apartment there is a private parking space for our guests.
We are a family of four and we live in the same house as our guest apartment so we can focus on personal service to our guests if they want. What we love about Akureyri is its atmosphere, being stationed in a deep fjord makes every season enjoyable as the mountains change colors gradually from white to green and back again. Sigtryggur is a glider pilot and enjoys the mountains up close regularly.
The neighborhood is very grown and quiet and the houses here are built around 1940. The street the house is in was called "Bankers street" because at the time the richest people in town were living here.
