Sólheimahjáleiga is a family run guesthouse in one of the most popular areas in Iceland. We try our best to provide our guests the best service possible in a relaxed atmosphere.
Sólheimahjáleiga has been in the same family since 1850 and we have had a guesthouse here for over three decades.
Sólheimahjáleiga is also a sheep farm and guests are welcome to look around and ask questions.
Neighborhood info
The village Vík is aprox. 24 km east of our guesthouse. Also in the vicinity are the Reynisdrangar cliffs, the Black beach, Sólheimajökull glacier and the DC-3 airplane wreck on the Sólheimasandur.
