Greetings to everyone! Let me introduce myself and the story behind Spói Guesthouse. My name is Kitti. I moved to Iceland and found my true home in Hvolsvöllur. Hospitality is my passion, and I've worked in various hotels and guesthouses here, learning how to create memorable experiences for guests. After eight years, Me and my husband decided to open our own guesthouse. In 2023 June, we reopened Spói Guesthouse, reflecting our love for hospitality and desire to welcome travellers.

Our spacious, 260-square-meter home features six cosy bedrooms and a large common area, making it an ideal choice for relaxation and community. In the shared living space, you'll find a coffee machine, fridge, microwave, and kettle for your convenience, as well as a comfortable seating area with a chess board and TV for entertainment. It’s the perfect place to unwind, share stories, and if you like to create lasting memories with fellow travellers. Outside, guests can enjoy a large yard, ideal for fresh air and, with a bit of luck, catching sight of the Northern Lights dancing overhead. Our guesthouse is a prime spot for exploring the best of South Iceland. We are offering a warm, friendly atmosphere and personal touches that ensure a welcoming stay. As locals, we’re always here to help, whether you need recommendations for nearby attractions or assistance with any questions.
