It is a 15 minute walk from the Spello train station, or 5 minute drive, with beautiful views of gardens, valley and mountains. Private entry through a Roman arch. Decorated with local antique and hand crafted items, the stone walls, tile floors and wood beam ceiling provide rustic charm. The private terrace is equipped with a custom designed volcanic table, 4 chairs and stunning views. Great for drinks and snacks, or with the fast, reliable wifi (108 Mbps), as a remote office. Smoking is permitted on the terrace, but not inside- sorry! Cocktail kit available at no extra charge. No cooking facilities but a microwave and full sized refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee maker and tea kettle. Bright bathroom with steady hot water and a magnified makeup mirror and bidet. Well behaved pets are welcome but must not be left unattended, with elevated bowls and blankets to cover furniture before use. Petsitting available.

Spello is located on the main train line halfway between Rome and Florence. It is 38km from Spoleto, 13 K (one train stop) from Assisi, and 32km from Perugia.The Spello train station is a 15 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive away from this property. Free public parking nearby This property is located in the tranquil Prato area of the Historic Center. Easy access to nature hiking trails, but a short distance (100 meters- a 6 minute walk) from the main Piazza, restaurants, shops, cafés, pharmacy, ATMs, post office, etc. Known for its flower festival, Roman architecture, distinctive olive oil and garbanzo beans, Spello also offers a weekly market with flowers, produce, clothing on Wednesday mornings. The Roman cobbled street requires mobility, but an alternate road along the town wall leads to a shuttle bus stop which circles the town from 8a-11 am. Temporary luggage unloading can be done just below the arch, with safe convenient on the street below or in five nearby parking lots.
