Panoramic position overlooking the Umbrian countryside. The 10000 m2 lush garden is completely enclosed. Borgo Badia has a large portico for outdoor meals, 2 barbecues and gazebo with table. The paved bathing area is equipped with 10 sunbeds, 3 umbrellas, 5 gazebos and outdoor shower. The swimming pool measures 7x15 metres). Guests will also find a ping-pong table, a see-saw and a slide. Access to the property via a footpath and gate. INTERIOR: The farmhouse is made of 5 units, completely renovated. The gr. floor entrance leads to the farmhouse main body, consisting of a living area with fireplace, sofa, TV, small study and laundry. With independent access from the portico, there are 2 apartments, one on the left and one on the right: ABETE and IL PINO, both made of a living area with table, TV, cooking corner (all the kitchen corners in the property are equipped with oven, 4 burners stove, small fridge with freezer, fan, toaster, moka, blender, juicer, kettle), a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower. ABETE is ideal for the disabled. Adjacent to the entrance, a staircase leads up to the 1st floor, where there are 2 more apartments: ULIVO: living room with table and TV, small garden with furnished gazebo, kitchen corner, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower. LIMONE: large living room with TV, fireplace and sofas, table for the entire group and a partly covered terrace with table and chairs, kitchen corner, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower. On the opposite side of the building, via 9 steps, is the CEDRO apt. with living room with table and TV, cooking corner, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower. The hamlet has AC in all the bedrooms and 10 bikes. Linen included (changed weekly). Upon request: pool towels (10 EUR/each). Pets are permitted upon payment (50 EUR/stay). Heating (Apr.-Nov.) x m3: 5,00 EUR

Activities and Distances Borgo Badia is located in Badia, close to Castiglione del Lago. We suggest going on a guided tour of the vineyards, of the ancient olive grove and the wine cellar in the hamlet. The town of Badia is in the hills overlooking Lake Trasimeno, and is the perfect starting point for exploring many of Umbria’s historic towns, as well as important Tuscan centres like Cortona, Montepulciano and the marvellous Terre Cretesi area, all an hour’s drive away. Guests can also visit Castiglione del Lago, a mediaeval hamlet in Umbria, with its historic city centre, the Rocca del Leone, Palazzo della Corgna, and San Domenico church. The lakeside is perfect for those who love the sun, sport, long walks and hiking.
