Unfortunately Pescara got destroyed by the allied bombing during WW2 and rebuilt with total disregard of the original architectonic style and history of the place. I was really disappointed by how much concrete and senseless modern buildings and structures were built from the 60s until probably the 90s. There are a couple of spots which are still beautiful like the old town and the tiny pineta area in front of the beach but for the rest is an ugly city. On a positive note, the sea promenade is pretty amazing for walkers and runners and people are generally really nice.

It is a lively city with, what appears to be, a young thriving population. The beaches are clean and large expanses are public. The town has several excellent restaurants. Lots of pleasant walkways, bicycle paths. The entire population seems to congregate at the main piazzas, at night, to enjoy each other’s company, to dance and enjoy people watching.

In october the weather was fine, water in the see was warm, but the restaurants were closed or opened very late. People in Pescara speak only italian. There is not a lot to see in P. They don´t want turists, which I understand after Rome.

I was traveling via bicycle.
I was traveling via bicycle. The city is one of the most bicycle friendly cities with bike lanes on most roads. The city has a large bike bridge that spans the river dividing the city. Excellent for bikers.

Pescara isn't a typical old Italian city, so we spent a lot of time traveling to other smaller places nearby, which were easily accessible by train. The Giro d'Italia was great to watch down by the beach, with plenty of restaurants and accommodating staff, trying their best to cater to those of us that do not speak Italian.
Novenove property was nice to me he hosted me for good this house is very clean fragrant and very large the house and then the house is close to the center and comfortable and also super market convenient for doing the thick and taking buses and train station I give you 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ complimente you are very nice and generous novenove property see you when i go back to pescara i will come back to you thank you all
This is THE place to stay when your visiting Pescara!
It’s very spacious and decorated nicely! The host really didn’t skip out on any details.
Location is perfect, just a few minute walk from the beach and you are in the Center of all the amazing restaurants and shops!
The host was soooo friendly and reccomended the best restaurants and really made our stay in pescara top!
Spectacular stay in a very friendly environment.
Location is in the center of the city and 2 minutes away from the beach.
Angelo is an amazing and very attentive host.
Francesca is a remarcable cook and the Breakfast was always fresh and cooked from scratch, with organic ingredients.
This will definitely be our reference for all our future stays in Pescara.
Absolutely worth every penny … if your thinking is Pescara look no more … this is a fabulous place … private en-suite bed opens with share kitchen and some fabulous technology to gain access … fabulous hosts - breakfast croissants / buns / biscuits / vino too- cannot fault it - great location… easy access to trains buses and nightlife …
Breakfast was outstanding (I stay at American hotel chains about 80 nights per year, and the hotel breakfast at this hotel was much much better than at American hotel chains). The room was basic and small, but comfortable. I was very happy with it. The location is perfect. And they stored our luggage all day, which we appreciated.
Superb location, right in the center of Pescara and at a couple of minutes walking from the sea. Very close to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Inside, the apartment was quiet. The host (although at the hospital the day I arrived) guided me to the location of the apartment and helped me to get the keys.
The worst hotel I have ever been too. It hasn’t been renovated in 50 years. Stains on the carpet mattress was taken from a jail cell. I would have been cooler if a firefly was installed!!! The so called air conditioner was useless the pillows were thinner a towel. Parking was ridiculous.
I've stayed at this hotel 3 times with my partner and each time has been better than the last. Loredana is a treasure, the location is perfect and the rooms are great. This is the only hotel we plan on staying in whenever we're in Pescara, which has become one of our favorite destinations.
The flat is big and they ceilings are high. It is warm enough even in the winter, not always in Italy. The host was very polite and give us all the information we needed. The location is perfect: next to the beach (you can even see a bit of the sea) and the walking street.
A wonderful place with excellent care for guests. The hosts are very caring and friendly. Breakfast is excellent with homemade cakes. The room and other areas are very clean. If we happen to be in Pescara again, we will only stop there again. The location is great.
This is a "historic" hotel (see the plaque by the front door) that is showing its age. However, the rooms, beds, and bathrooms are clean, which for me is the most important thing. The free bottle of water in the minibar is a nice touch. Breakfast was fine.
Family ran hotel. Very nice and quiet. The room had a large balcony which was very peaceful. The hotel is ran by a family and their grandmother made the cakes served at breakfast. Everything about the place was excellent.
The location is good, view was good. But this Hotel needs to be closed for a year or 2 and properly renovated, maybe it was a 4-Star Hotel in the 60' until 70'. Personal at the reception was very friendly, though.
We really enjoyed our stay in Pescara, everything was working fine in hotel. Close to the beach, about 10 minutes walk, also supermarket is close to the hotel, placed in the city centre that is advantage.😊
Bino is very good man and helper he give me bike for free for anytime to can move at pescara and the woman in the morning for good and have good smile I love to stay in this place
Very hospitable, and kind, I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. The location was great, right in the heart of Pescara, and everything was in a walkable distance
