I have always been involved in tourism industry since when i was young. Soon after my degree in English and French and started traveling accompanying tourists groups all over the world. I am still doing this job but now i welcome english speaking guests in Italy traveling through my whole country and i work with a major tour operator. We are very central and every facility in town is at short walking distanceThe area is very interesting, it became famous following the stay of English Queen Victoria during the end 19th century. You have a lot of villas with botanical and beautiful flowers gardens, we are just facing the Alps, not far from Switzerland. We also have a good train connection with the city of Milan the economical capital of Italy very good for Shopping or worthy anyway a visit.. Many local trips are available on the lake Maggiore, the Isola Bella of noble Borromeo Family or to vista the alps with The Cento Valli little train going down to the swiss city of Locarno and much more. If you are coming without car you have public transports connection by bus, train or boats. Landscapes and history are combined in a quiet place where you can also take the chance to relax. An highlight of Italy to be seen at least once, and maybe you will return for your relaxing holidays in the future. Stresa is the Pearl of the lake with its many restaurants and facilities, and a long garden walking path facing the lake and the Isola Bella.
