Light and spacious, 80m sq, the apartment has two terraces looking west towards Montegualandro Castle and south towards Lake Trasimeno, and several large windows opening onto the small piazza to the east. A newly fitted kitchen, new bathroom, air conditioning, and granite floor in the main living space make this a comfortable and cosy apartment.

I love travel, languages, books, good food and wine, charming and educated people. Travelling particularly between the Far East and Europe (more precisely, between Hong Kong and Italy) I appreciate the differences and similarities between the two cultures. HK is rush and energy and efficiency, lots of can-do and fizz and work. In Italy there is a langour and a need to take time, which means longer lunches, more listening, but also longer queues in the supermarket and a greater weight of bureaucracy. Both places put great weight on personal and familial relationships, and on the place of food in the culture. I live in the village, so am one minute away and also available to answer any questions or deal with any issues.

Tuoro sul Trasimeno is on the north shore of Lake Trasimeno, with the historic centre about 2km from the lake itself. This makes it perfect for exploring the area, while retaining its peaceful character. The apartment is right in the centre of Tuoro, with the nearest coffee shop ten seconds and 20m away, the local grocer 30m away, pizzeria 35m, butcher 40m... The main airports serving the area are Perugia (35km), Florence (140km), Ancona (140km), Pisa (200km), Rome Fiumicino (230km), Rome Ciampino (220km). There are frequent trains from Florence, Pisa, and Rome in particular. The nearest train station is Terontola-Cortona, which is 7km from Tuoro. There are direct trains to Rome, Florence, Assisi, and Perugia from there. Parking is abundant in Tuoro, and there are many walking routes into the countryside. Or of course one can while away the time in one of Tuoro's elegant little bars, coffee shops, or restaurants. If you visit on a motorbike you can leave it / them in my small garage. Unfortunately there is not enough space to park a car there.
