You can visit the area of the "true" Chianti (Gaiole, Radda and Castellina in Chianti), where there are castles and ancient villages, farms that produce a large vino.e stunning views.
Siena is a beautiful city that you can visit in a day and is only 25 km from Gaiole.
The Val d'Orcia is a natural park (UNESCO site), where you can visit Mantalcino (which produces the famous wine "Brunello di Montalcino"), San Quirico d'Orcia, Pienza, the Abbey of Monte Oliveto, and so on.
Among the "jewels" to visit are: the "walls" of the Castle of Monteriggioni, Colle Val d'Elsa and San Gimignano. A a little further away there is a beautiful city that is called Etruscan Volterra.
Florence is 60 km away and Arezzo 45 Km.
