Comfortable and modern studio apartment in the heart of Bologna, in via Rizzoli, one of the most important arteries of the city, which connects Piazza Maggiore with the Two Towers. Most of the buses that go to the center stop here. This comfortable studio apartment is located in a recently renovated period building (with elevator), and it overlooks a quiet side street next to Via Rizzoli. The flat opens onto the elegant day area, furnished with a sofa bed, a TV set and a 3-seater dining table. The kitchenette has microwave, toaster, hot stoves and dishwasher. The day area comes with parquet flooring and two balcony doors providing ample natural light. There is a large bookcase between the living corner and the night area: it is as bright as the rest of the property and features a double bed. A bathroom adjoins the night area and is fitted with basin, washing machine and crystal shower stall. PETS: Pets are allowed. Extra charges apply.

AREA: The apartment is located in front of Piazza Maggiore, the central square of Bologna, within walking distance of the main points of interest, such as the Accademia di Belle Arti, the Opera Theatre (Teatro Comunale), the Jewish Ghetto and the Two Towers (Torre Garisenda and Torre degli Asinelli, approx. 2 min.); Via dell’Indipendenza, a much sought-after shopping street in Bologna, is at 200 m. The area offers restaurants, ‘trattorie’, bars and cafés aplenty; moreover, there are some pharmacies, bakery and newsagents shops. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Via Rizzoli is very well-served: there are several bus lines running to Bologna Fair and the railway station (15 minutes on foot). PARKING: The apartments are in a pedestrian area within the Traffic Limited Zone (ZTL). On weekends and public holidays the downtown area (Via Rizzoli, Via Ugo Bassi and Via Indipendenza) is completely pedestrianized. The closest private parking is in Via Carbonara 2. Here you may also fill a form to get access to the restricted traffic area. Alternatively, you can use the APCOA parking in Piazza 8 Agosto, just outside the ZTL and about 10 minutes walking from the apartments.
