Porto Torres is the western tourist and commercial port north connected with Genoa, France and seasonally with Barcelona and Civitavecchia. Elegantly overlooking the Gulf of Asinara in a strategic location that makes it the hub of routes such as Alghero, Stintino and Castelsardo. The municipal area is also part of the Asinara Island National Park since 1997 became extraordinary natural value and historical tours are ideal for nature lovers, where you can make wonderful excursions by jeep, canoeing, hiking, horse and electric cars. You can visit the seabed with guided snorkeling tours both for its natural and archaeological purpose. To visit: The Basilica of San Gavino (a short walk from the house), the museum Turris Lybissonis, the Baths and the Palazzo of Re Barbaro, the port with a walk along the coast of the cycle path by more than 10 km. Porto Torres is 35 km from Stintino to be able to dive in the fantastic beach of La Pelosa beach, 35 km from the beautiful Castelsardo and 40 km from Alghero (Fertilia airport 35 km) where you can find many low-cost connections.
