This stylish and modern property, managed by Belcanto Villas, is the result of the union of two houses, creating a perfect space to accommodate up to 9 people with 3 bedrooms and 2 sofa beds. Located in the heart of Torre del Lago Puccini (Viareggio), the house is 2.7 km from the sea and near all essential services, such as bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the train station. Access to the property is via an electric driveway gate, which leads to a private parking area of ​​80 m2, equipped with charging for electric vehicles. Each house has its own private garden of 35 m2 (for a total of 70 m2 of white gravel garden), both furnished with a parasol, dining table and barbecue, ideal for outdoor dining. In addition, there is a convenient laundry area with a washing machine. The internal areas (140 sqm), which are spread over two floors of 2 adjacent houses, offer ample space and privacy, with all the rooms overlooking the gardens. An additional terrace (10 sqm) on the upper floor provides an additional space for relaxation or a study corner. The combination of modern comforts and the proximity to the beach and services makes this house ideal for a relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful locations in Tuscany. Due to the marshy nature of the area, at least until the 18th century, no one lived in these parts. During the 18th century, however, a first community of fishermen settled and little by little a residential nucleus was created that at the end of the 18th century had less than 200 inhabitants. A significant development of the center occurred starting from the 19th century when the place was not yet known as “Alla Macchia”. The name Torre del Lago is after 1850 and is linked to a watchtower, which was located where the Puccini villa stands today. In 1891 Giacomo Puccini settled in Torre del Lago describing it with the following words: “Supreme joy, paradise, Eden, empyrean, «turris eburnea», «vas spirituale», royal palace… 120 inhabitants, 12 houses. Quiet country, with splendid bushes reaching the sea, populated by deer, wild boars, hares, rabbits, pheasants, woodcocks, blackbirds, finches and sparrows. Immense marshland.
