La Gemma is located in the very central square piazza Dante, today theater of concerts and various events. It is located away from the noise of the city, on the fourth and last floor of a 19th century building, with elevator going up to the third floor - last few steps to climb on foot - . La Gemma will welcome you on a shared panoramic terrace, from which you will immediately admire the roofs of the city and the Vomero hill with a special view of the imposing Castel Sant'Elmo and Certosa di San Martino. In its completely mansarded structure, romantically equipped with skylights, You will admire the stars before falling asleep in comfortable handmade beds.
We have created a welcoming and romantic atmosphere, combined our experience in the hospitality sector with our knowledge of the area. But our goal is to make You feel at home, or better, at a friend's house!
La Gemma is located in the famous and central Piazza Dante, from which You enter the hystorical centre directly through the Port'Alba arch. A few steps later, the street and the square Bellini, centers of nightlife thanks to old cafes and lounge bars. The best pizzerias of Via Tribunali, are less than 5 minutes walk (Vesi, Decumani, Di Matteo). From the square Dante, You have the main shopping street Toledo going down to Piazza del Plebiscito and then to the seaside. From the square Dante You can take the subway up to the neighbourhood Vomero, up the hill.
