The idea of opening a Guest House was born during my travels. I thought of welcoming travelers into an environment that had a soul, capable of conveying emotions, not just a place to sleep and refresh. My first desire was to make the guest feel at home, in a family context where hosts, guests, and three magnificent cats share the same harmonious coexistence. For this reason, I have created an open, welcoming, bright, and pleasant home where we can meet to talk, exchange travel experiences, ideas, suggestions, and special moments, perhaps while sipping a pleasant glass of wine. During conversations, there is no shortage of suggestions to visit the area and appreciate it, giving importance to small villages or lesser-known and less touristy places. As a seasoned traveler, I have not forgotten that breakfast marks the good start of a new day, so it is always generous, varied, and inviting. My guests can expect surprises every morning! It is housed in a Liberty villa surrounded by a spacious garden, meticulously renovated and decorated while preserving its original charm. The entire guest house is furnished in the Liberty style, featuring terrazzo floors and finely painted walls in lively colors that reflect the host's love for colors and light. The spaces are adorned with refined decorations and, most notably, travel mementos that encapsulate stories and memories. The bright veranda, along with the charming garden, creates a pleasant atmosphere for moments of relaxation and socializing. Breakfast at Marta Guest House is a magical experience, personally prepared by the host with a touch of creativity and imagination. Situated in the center of the small town of Santa Maria del Giudice, just a few kilometers from Lucca and Pisa, not far from the sea, mountains, and various art cities. Giorgio and Marta are always available to suggest excursions, itineraries, and useful information, providing guests with the opportunity to fully explore and appreciate the surrounding territory.
