Re Dionisio Boutique Hotel is housed in an ancient building of the '500 set on the sea. Built just outside the island of Ortigia, it has recently been restored by expert craftsmen who have recovered the rich original elements in stone, obtaining 8 Suites, equipped with every comfort, that overlook the sea. Elegance, comfort and privacy characterize the 8 sea view suites of the Re Dionisio Boutique Hotel, furniture with Italian design, Molteni furniture. The hotel has a SPA with a heated swimming pool with sea view, a sauna and a Turkish bath. Entrance to the SPA is available by reservation only and for a fee. Re Dionisio Boutique Hotel is located about 1 km from the island of Ortigia, the historic center of a thousand-year-old city, and just over 2 km from the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, within which is the Greek Theater of Syracuse, home of the classic representations. The name of the structure pays tribute to Dionysius I the Great, Tyrant of Syracuse, military leader and tragedian. It was Dionysius who, at the head of the army during the Greek-Punic wars, brought Syracuse to victory and to hegemony over all of Sicily.
