Set off to discover a relaxing destination, known for its boat trips, monuments, gastronomic / cultural heritage. Santa Flavia is located 17 km from Palermo. The proximity to Palermo, its fishing fleet, and the clear sea, have made it a tourist center. With the nearby Bagheria, they almost create a single body, but each one very distinct. In the small town of Santa Flavia there are just over 11,000 inhabitants. But these multiply of tourists in the summer season. Santa Flavia is in fact close to the sea, with its hamlets of Porticello, Sant'Elia and Capo Zafferano. Sant’Elia is a charming and romantic seaside village near Palermo. The birth of the village is linked to the Solanto trap, and to fishing activity. The promontory of Solanto, with the archaeological remains of the ancient Phoenician city, is located right behind it. To the west is Capo Zafferano. La Caletta a Sant’Elia is a small bay dominated by two promontories on the sides, it flows into a crystalline sea.
