This guesthouse is limited to one group per day and is perfectly located in the center of Aizuwakamatsu, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, shower, and toilet, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. There is also a spacious terrace where you can enjoy the starry sky and sunrise over Aizuwakamatsu, and on clear days, you may even see Mt. Bandai. The entire second floor of the building is reserved exclusively for guests, allowing families and friends to relax and spend time together comfortably. You can enjoy walking around town to visit local izakayas, ramen shops, and try Aizu specialties such as sauce katsudon, or buy local sake and horse sashimi at a nearby supermarket and enjoy them at the guesthouse. After check-out, a trip to Kitakata City for “morning ramen” (the local tradition of eating ramen in the morning) is also highly recommended. Free Wi-Fi is available, making this place suitable for workations as well. The owner, who is originally from Aizu, stays on the first floor of the building, so feel free to ask for recommendations on restaurants, sightseeing spots, or anything else you need. Please note: accommodation fees are charged based on the number of guests, regardless of age.

I’m originally from Aizuwakamatsu. On my days off, I enjoy visiting local izakayas and playing sports. I also love traveling and often stay at guesthouses. One of my favorite things to do while traveling is walking around the town and having casual conversations with local people. I wanted to become one of those “locals” myself, which is why I decided to start this guesthouse!

Tsuruga Castle is a 15-minute walk away, Oyakuen Garden is a 5-minute walk, a supermarket is just 1 minute away, and the main izakaya (restaurant) area is a 10-minute walk. Iimoriyama is a 6-minute drive, Ouchi-juku is a 40-minute drive, and Nekoma Mountain (ski resort) is also about a 40-minute drive away. Overall, it’s a very convenient location.
