Welcome to MIKAZUKI in Kyoto! We are a guesthouse certified by JAPA（Japan Association of Private Accommodations）as a "safe and secure accommodation facility". During your stay, you could enjoy the entire space exclusively, which includes nearly 50 square meters of total space, with full coverage of Wi-Fi throughout the area, and individual air conditioning in each room. The first floor is equipped with a tatami leisure area with underfloor heating, a kitchen and dining area, an independent toilet, and a shower room with a bathtub. In addition, Netflix and a Nintendo Family Computer game console are also provided for your entertainment. Also the house is equipped with microwave oven, capsule coffee maker , IH stove, hair dryer, washing machine with drying function, bathroom dehumidifier, refrigerator, a four-person dining table, and complete kitchenware and tableware. We also prepared a picnic mat and a food basket for you to use for free. You can enjoy a picnic leisurely with your friends or family on the banks of the Kamogawa River as the locals often do during your stay. The second floor consists of two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and terrace where you can enjoy the Takasegawa river view, and the other is a tatami-style Japanese room with two futons. We deeply understand the importance of a good night sleep when travelling so we only chose the best model of Emma mattress for the double bed and Nishikawa, one of the top brands in Japan for Futons for the tatami room. Additionally, the double bed room is also equipped with a Japanese style massage chair to make your stay more comfortable.

The guesthouse is located in the center of Kyoto, just a 4-minute walk from the Keihan Railway Kiyomizu-Gojo Station and several bus stops, 15-minute walk from the Kyoto Station. It is located by the Takase River, with a beautiful view of cherry blossoms in the spring and maple leaves in the autumn. As a convenient starting point for sightseeing in Kyoto, famous attractions such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Ninen-zaka, Kodai-ji Temple, Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Higashi Hongan-ji Temple, Shosei-en Garden, Kamogawa River, Sanjusangen-do Temple, the Kyoto National Museum and the commercial center Shijo Kawaramachi can all be reached on foot within 8-20 minutes. The guesthouse is only 10 meters from the nearest shared bicycle access point, bicycle and car rental shops are within a 5-minute walk. The guesthouse is also surrounded by convenient facilities. No matter a 24-hour restaurant or 24-hour convenient stores, even a 24-hour supermarket is only 5 minutes away on foot from the guesthouse. Also, you can easily find many other restaurants, bars, coffee shops, traditional Japanese style public bath-house and drugstores in the neighborhood.
