Company information
- While we won't be able to meet you during your stay, we will respond promptly to messages. Please feel free to contact us for information on sightseeing or restaurants.
- Phone support is available 24 hours a day in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean. When calling, please say, "I am (your name), checking into LINKAGE STAY HAKONE SENGOKUHARA on (date)."
- In case of an emergency, staff from nearby areas will come to assist. Additionally, the property owner lives nearby and may visit the lodging if necessary.
**Hot Spring Usage Precautions**
- It takes several hours for the hot spring water to accumulate sufficiently. As we drain and clean the bath after each guest's use, depending on the check-in and check-out schedule, the hot spring may not be sufficiently filled or warmed up, and we may need to limit the available baths.
- If the bath is not sufficiently filled or warm, please use hot water.
- The whitish solid substances adhering to the bath are known as "Yunohana" (hot spring flowers), which are minerals crystallized from the hot spring components. They are not dirt, so please rest assured.
- Fallen leaves and insects may end up in the open-air bath, so please use the blower or insect net as needed.
- Due to the strong components of the hot spring, soaking for extended periods can cause overheating. Please be cautious. If you have sensitive skin or have experienced skin irritation from hot springs before, please check the quality of the "Owakudani hot spring" in advance (a chart of the hot spring components is available in the photo section, in Japanese only).
- When using the shower or taps, set the temperature around 40 degrees Celsius. The water can heat up to 60 degrees, so turning it to the highest temperature (toward red) could result in burns.
Property information
In the heart of Sengokuhara, enjoy a leisurely soak in a natural hot spring at "LINKAGE STAY HAKONE SENGOKUHARA," a modernly renovated lodging that offers the entire building for rent, previously an old inn.
Located just a 2-minute walk from the "Sengoku" bus stop, this facility offers direct connections to popular spots like Odawara, Hakone-Yumoto, Gora, Lake Ashi, and Gotemba Outlet. Direct buses from Shinjuku also stop here, making it an incredibly convenient location for travelers.
The property spans 244 sqm and can accommodate up to 20 guests across four bedrooms plus additional futons. Ideal for family trips, group stays, or even for reunions and retreats. With one outdoor bath and two indoor baths, a commercial kitchen, and four toilets, large groups can avoid the common issue of waiting for bathrooms.
Guests can enjoy the famously concentrated waters of the Owakudani hot springs, which flow directly into the baths. Please read the precautions carefully to fully enjoy your stay.
Within walking distance, there is the only supermarket in Hakone, a drugstore, and numerous reputable restaurants (notably, the roast beef at "Aihara Butcher Shop" is very famous). Attractions like the Glass Forest Museum and Lalique Museum are also within walking distance, and the pampas grass fields are just a five-minute drive away.
Despite some signs of wear and aging due to its former life as an old inn, the facility is meticulously cleaned to ensure cleanliness and comfort for all guests. The floors are a combination of carpets and tatami, and shoes are not permitted indoors, making it safe even for families with babies.
Each living and bedroom area is equipped with air conditioning for both heating and cooling, essential for Sengokuhara's cold winters. Additionally, two portable heaters are provided to keep various rooms warm.
High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
