A big, kid friendly, 2 bedrooms apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoy living like a local! It's 5 minutes walk from Higashi-Kanazawa station. Short ride by bus or train to city centre. Walking distance to many amenities including supermarkets and onsen. Free wifi. Free parking. No need of key. Fully hotel licensed. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, one has two single beds and the other room is a Tatami room(a room with rice straw mattress as a floor, and it is a very Japanese traditional style room.) Both bed rooms and living room have air conditioning units with cold and hot functions. Also, we provide kotatsu (hot table with cover) during the winter , plus all the beds and futons have winter bedding, very warm for winter. If six people are to stay in, one person must sleep in the living room, but will have his own privacy, closing doors, even if any other guests need to use toilet or the kitchen in the middle of the night. It is a separate room. Free parking is provided for one car, and extra charge of 500 yen per day per extra car. Please check availability before coming. There is no coin-operating parking around.

Welcome to Casa Sanpond! We are a friendly international family of 4. I'm from Spain and my wife is from Kanazawa, and we are used to different cultures and we embrace the mix. We love to travel, that is how we met and we love to go camping every time we can. We also love hiking.　 We have traveled around Japan and specially around Hokkuriku, so please feel free to ask about it. This is our first experience with Airbnb and we are passionate to offer to our guests a real Japanese experience through communication and understanding. We are offering this room from me being backpacker point of view, and my wife being a mother of two kids point of view. Please let us know when you book with small kids. The apartment has a great location. Only 5 minutes from Higashi-Kanazawa station, that is only one station away from the main Kanazawa station. FREE BUS: If you have the JR PASS you can reach Casa Sanpond using the JR Bus for FREE!! Bus stop is located only 7 mins from the house. Bus stop to/from city center are 5 mins walk from the apartment. 10mins ride to Higashiyama, 13mins ride to Kenroku Park, 20mins ride to Katamachi. We have printed bus and train schedules with translation for you . Inside the house you will find maps and tours about Kanazawa and Ishikawa, with information on how to organize. 　 Supermarkets, drug stores, convenient stores, restaurants and bars are all located with a short walk from the property.　　 Taxi costs from/to city center should not be more than 2000 yens. 　 This property is excellent for families. There is a nice small playground just behind the property, and it is an excellent place to see the cherry blossom, the changing colour of the leaves in autumn or just play with your kids. It could be a great opportunity for your kids to get to know other nationalities.
