There is parking space for one car. If you are coming with more than one car, there is a paid parking lot nearby. I've been going for drives to Hakone since I was a university student, and I was fascinated by the scenery of Mt. Fuji, Lake Ashi, hot springs, food, history, art, etc. Also, when I visited a villa area on Lake Como, a luxury resort in Italy in my early 20s, I compared it to Hakone and once again realized the charm of Japan's "Hakone".
