Gimhana farmstay is located in a village named Keerikkulama. It is in one acre land where organic farming carries out. We grow fruits and vegetables using only local traditional seeds.there are some wild trees and bushes with wild fruits endemic to dry zone in sri Lanka.you can watch wild animals and lot of birds here.
I am a government teacher of geography. I like organic farming and leading a simple lifestyle. I offer local food .calm and quiet environment and experience In organic farming..l can offer free stay or accommodation at Lowest rate for those who enjoy with helping us by watering.,preparing land, weeding etc. And food too .they can joing cooking.if interneted.
Most of villagers are farmers. They engaged in paddy cultivation and seasonal grains irrigated by keerikkulama tank built I the king era.Nachchaduwa tank,big reserviour is 2 km away from our site.lot of elephants are there on certain period.
