Located on the Atlantic Ocean, the cosmopolitan Cassablanca is the largest city in Morocco although Rabat is the political capital. This colorful city features lively traditional markets and narrow streets full of spices and aromas.
Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Hassan II Mosque has the tallest minaret in the world. Made of hand-crafted marble, this beautiful mosque blends the Islamic architecture with Moroccan elements. Situated in the heart of Morocco, the modern Port of Casablanca is the largest one in North Africa and one of the largest artificial ports in the world.
The traditional market of Quartier Habous has a great variety of handmade Arabic carpets, metal wares and a huge olive area. The shopping paradise of the Exposition Nationale d'Artisanat is the place to buy local products, souvenirs and quality leather goods.
The Boulevard Muhammad V is Casablanca’s busiest street linking the Place des Nations Unies with the railway station in the east of the city. If you are looking for relaxation, visit one of the local Turkish baths and enjoy soothing spa treatments. Booking.com offers a big selection of hotels in Casablanca with wellness facilities.
Mohammed V International Airport is the busiest airport in Morroco, serving many European countries. The train station of Casablanca Voyageurs connects the city with Marrakech and Tangier.
Only selected areas of the city are worthwhile to visit.
Only selected areas of the city are worthwhile to visit. Most of the city appears to have flourished up to the 1970s as many buildings are from that period - now mostly run down. Lots of litter on the road and traffic participants regularly violate the rules - in particular motorists passing through red lights.
Better to stay in Rabat which is a very clean city in comparison, and perhaps visit Casablanca on a day trip only.
Attractions of Casablanca are few: Habbous quarter, Hassan mosque and of course the Rick's Cafe.

The train station/tram is very good ,I enjoy riding them.
The train station/tram is very good ,I enjoy riding them. I have problem eating from restaurant as the opening are quite hard. What I mean about hard is the timing for opening is not for a morning person. Pack extra dress for winter. My french sucks and arabic is not good also so there is a language barrier you have to overcome.

Very good hotel, for Casablanca, the hotel is located near the, two shopping malls, which are within walking distance. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen, the hotel is very clean, quiet. Two restaurants below the hotel, and great food. We will return this hotel next time we visit Casa.

A big city with many contrasts.
A big city with many contrasts. Of course, a visit to the Mosque and the headland with the lantern is a must. It is also worth taking a train to Rabat. Well-developed public transport makes it easy to explore the entire city. The best places are near Casa Port and old Town

Casablanca is not really a must-go destination.
Casablanca is not really a must-go destination. The old center is pretty dirty and the buildings are not maintained, plenty of them abandoned. Some of the streets in the center almost have the authentic vibe from the movies, but i felt too insecure there. Nothing bad happened to me, but the feeling of being unsafe ruined my experience. Is not really a tourist-friendly city to visit, with staff in restaurants rarely speaking English. I went a 6-day trip (2-3 days in Rabat, 2x Casablanca, and 2x Marrakech), as instead i would recommend 2 days in Rabat, half a day (nor not visiting at all) for Casablanca to visit the big Mosque and the beach (without spending time for the old center) and 2-3 days for Marrakech. The bazaar in Marrakech is huge, but i wished i did more shopping in Rabat (where the bazaar is smaller, but the sellers are way more tolerant and not being pushy at all, which made me feel way more comfortable while shopping. Also, prices in Rabat were lower.
Alcohol in Morroco is in general hard to find, but in some Carrefour supermarkets, they have separate rooms (called CAVE) for selling alcohol. Still, it was not easy to find those, as in Google Maps there wasn`t enough information about which ones sell alcohol, and which doesn't.
Street food is also to be avoided, as hygiene is very low.
The service was ridiculously good. It was our first time in Morocco and I was helpless. I asked the guy at the front desk where to eat. Not only did Sayid mention a couple of places close by, but he personally walked me to one and then ordered for me in Arabic.
I ate my meal and when I walked back, there was Sayid standing in the intersection, making sure I didn't miss my turn back to the hotel. He went above and beyond on a couple occasions, this one just stands out the most. I've never experienced service like that before.
LOCATION is very close to Casa Port station where anyone can travel to many points of Morocco. Several small stores are nearby in case anyone needs fo buy something to much and even prepaid mobile phone cards.
AMBIENCE is ok as hotel is clean and well-interiored with minimalistic setting.
HOTEL STAFF are very kind and accommodating, and available to help 24x7. Special thanks to Mr. Adil Lachhab who is the graveyard shift receptionist who helped me in most of my requests in wee hours of the morning during my stay.
The style and decor of the hotel was authentic Moroccan which had a great feel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, it appeared to have double glazing on the windows to cut down the outside noise, and the wifi worked on most floors. It was quite central to most sites, transport, supermarkets and dining. It was the best accommodation I stayed at in Morocco and it was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this hotel.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, the facilities are very perfect, and very clean, the service is very attentive, you can see the service staff in the continuous cleaning. This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my few days in Morocco! The hotel also has Chinese food to eat, a large amount of benefits. If I come to Casablanca next time, I will definitely choose here again, it is a choice that can't go wrong.
The hotel was quiet due to travel restrictions, which was different. We arrived to Casablanca on our first night. Location was on the beach and near walking boulevard. We had excellent service from the staff. We had a delicious breakfast by the pool side. The beds were comfortable and it had a good aircon. They Gave a wonderful recommendation to a restaurant for dinner at La Petit Roucher that offered great food and beautiful view.
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and beds, AC was working but couldn't adjust temperature (only warm/cool), ok location near old town and plenty of restaurants nearby. Had the chance to book a double room for 29€/night which is awesome price for this hotel.
7 min walk from a Carrefour with alcohol, which is good as finding alcohol shops in Morocco is an issue 🍺 (Carrefour Express Casa Av. Hassan Seghir)
The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep after a day of sightseeing. The modern amenities and thoughtful touches throughout the room enhanced the overall experience. Thank you so much DeepMoroccoTours.com
Location was great next to Casa port Station. Room was good size for Ibis. Very clean. Staff were super lovely and welcoming on reception. Hotel chambermaid was very sweet.
Big shopping centre 10 minutes walk, Hassan 2 mosque 25 mins. Can get bus 5 to both or Morocco mall.
Shower was very powerful I liked this as felt very clean after.
All is good, as the ratings I gave above. It's particularly worth mentioning - so great to see this hotel has a sizable swimming pool and it is indoor, the only real size indoor swimming pool that I came across during my two-week trip touring around Morocco, what a pleasant surprise!
The hotel is very unique. It has a design that I’ve never seen any other hotel in Morocco have. The rooms were very clean and were relaxing to be in. The staff was great and very helpful; especially the restaurant staff. The breakfast was great as well and the staff were fun.
Sofiane is truly one of the kindest, neatest people I've met during my stay in Morocco and he goes out of his way to make you feel at home! ❤️
100% RECOMMEND.
(PS: His apartment is train/tram accesible and your basically in the centre of Casablanca which is perfect.)
Hotel is well-situated and It was nice that the room had a balcony. Breakfast was good for Morocco: cucumber, cherry tomatoes, cheese, fresh orange juice, fresh local bakery and fried & boiled eggs, lot of sweet choices. Only coffee was not good.
the rooms were really clean and the staff was amazing! it was my first time out of the country and they made me feel at home. I would recommend them to everybody! this was defiantly the best hotel I’ve stayed in since arriving in Morocco
Everything was nice and clean, This is the best place where you can stay in Morocco and very cheap, Really nice apartment. Very close to ocean and swimming pools are very nice and Clean in the backyard. Really close to Casablanca.
Great location that is very close to the train station. The beds were very firm and comfortable. I think it's very good value by Morocco standards, as I have paid similar amounts and have gotten MUCH lower quality stays.
I loved the rooms! The view from our room was really lovely and comfortable. Great for a first nights stay in Morocco to get your barrings. The interior design of the hotel, the piano in the lobby and the swimming pool.
Spotless clean.
Staff treat guests like in five-star hotels.
Rich breakfast compared to other hotels in Morocco.
Great value for the price.
Best hotel in Casablanca!
