This serene escape perfectly complements Rodrigues’ laid-back vibe, offering travellers a soul-soothing retreat. Designed with a unique nod to yesteryear, the property blends retro-inspired fittings with modern comforts, creating an ambiance that feels both nostalgic and contemporary. Many of its fittings, furniture, and ornaments are crafted from recycled wood or cherished relics from simpler times and make every corner of the house a conversation piece. The open-plan living area together with the veranda and large garden offers enough space for each to find their special spot, enhancing the sense of freedom and relaxation. The well equipped kitchen is ideal for self-catering guests, providing ample space to whip up meals with fresh local ingredients from the nearby Mont Lubin market, just a 5-minute drive away. The three bedrooms, two of them with en-suite bathrooms, can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. Step outside to the sea facing airy veranda, where you can sip your morning coffee while gazing at the horizon or enjoy your meals with loved ones. With the closest neighbours out of sight, more than 150 meters away, the spacious and fenced garden is a serene oasis that offers privacy and a tranquil backdrop to inviting amenities. A small dipping pool surrounded by a green tropical expanse is perfect for cooling off under the island sun, or enjoying a sun downer with a drink. As evening falls, light up the garden fire pit and relax under a starlit sky, or start the BBQ.. A word of caution; the pool is not fenced and the property has no safety devices for children who will be under your responsibility.

If we cannot be there, our trusted representative, a local with a passion for sharing the beauty and charm of his island with travellers from around the world, will welcome you. He will be happy to help supply fresh fish, octopus or crayfish, depending on weather and season. He can also help with organizing boat tours, fishing in the lagoon, etc. He loves meeting new people and takes great joy in ensuring our guests have a truly memorable holiday. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, he will be happy to share tips and recommendations to make your trip unforgettable. He will always be just a call or message away if you need anything during your stay. The housemaid comes daily, except Sundays and public holidays. She cleans the house, makes the beds, washes the dishes and does the occasional laundry. We have a washing machine which is used only by the housekeeper and only when fully loaded. To reduce water usage bed linen and towels will be changed about every 4 nights. Meals are not provided, however, if you would like the housekeeper to prepare meals for you, you can make arrangements directly with her for an extra fee.

‘Yesterday’s Trois Soleils’ neighbourhood is perfect for nature lovers as well as those seeking adventure. Nestled in the eastern part of the island, at the foot of Grande Montagne, this peaceful area is surrounded by lush green endemic trees, including the vacoas tree and limon de Rodrigues. In season eat the fruits from the mango, guava, jambrosa and mandarin trees around. Spot the endemic Rodrigues fody and the Rodrigues warbler, or just listen to the zebra dove's calling. Expect to see goats, sheep or cows meandering around the open fields, all creating a calm and picturesque setting. The area is excellent for hiking and jogging, offering enough challenge for all levels. The best beaches are just a short drive away. The more adventurous will enjoy the spectacular views from Tyrodrig’s zip lines, 8kms away; or enjoy the kite surfing in Mourouk. The daily vegetable market in Mont Lubin as well as a convenient supermarket are only 5 minutes away by car, ensuring easy access to local produce and essentials.
