I am absolutely in love with my getaway to Chuiba Bay Lodge. I have not been to a place as quiet, peaceful, stunning and paradise-like place. From the moment I booked to the moment we left, it was just greatness after greatness. the welcoming was such nice treat, a fresh towel and a great tasting juice from Lito who treated us extremely well. Mr Delio and his wife are so welcoming and kind, they gave us the comfort and opened space for us to do as we pleased (with respect for their paradise, of course). We left with plants gifted by the Lady owner and I have been thinking about going back for longer, since we left. extremely happy with the food, the comfort and astonishing interior décor, the calmness, cleanliness and safety security just left us in the clouds. I could say so much more, but I want to guarantee the future visitor, that there are few things in the world that will be worth your money as MUCH as this place. thank you, Delio and Wife (whose name I did not get and sorry for that), we will be back!

Rainy season is not the best time to go if you want a beach...
Rainy season is not the best time to go if you want a beach holiday at one of the town's resorts. Rivers are poluted with all kinds of rubbish which eventually wash onto the beaches and into the sea.
Great big Shoprite was a bonus - very competitive prices.
Deep Sea fishing was a highlight - Used #Islandadventurecharters. Ask for Hugo Vermeulen.
Snorkling was the best we've seen - but need to take a boat to the island where the coral is mostly undisturbed.
Hotel Nautilus has the best food in town and also enjoyed the food at Pieter's place.
Roads are in a shocking state.
We had to use taxi's to take us to more suitable beaches located south of Pemba City..
