In het centrum van Schoonhoven, ook bekend als de Zilverstad, is de Boutique Chique B&B De Edelsmederij gevestigd. Het mooiste plekje om te overnachten, midden in het prachtige stadje. Luxe, comfortabel, romantisch en erg sfeervol ingericht. Vanuit de B&B is alles lopend bereikbaar; de winkels, restaurants, café's en o.a. het Nederlands Zilvermuseum. Het natuurgebied de Vlist en de Krimpenerwaard zijn met de fiets een totale ontspanning. Het bekende Kinderdijk is via de Veerpont makkelijk te bereiken (ca. 25 minuten). De rivier de Lek ligt op 200 meter van de B&B. Rotterdam en Utrecht liggen op ca. 35 minuten rijden. Gouda, met zijn beroemde kaasmarkt, is ca. 20 minuten rijden.
