We are Dirk and Marianne Hop. Until 2013, we were dairyfarmers. Now we are running bed and breakfast. We have searched for a great location and we foud one: Johannesberg. It's a monument from 1894. We build a guesthouse for the rooms. And we made breakfast room and kitchen in the monument. We love to walk and cycling.

Property information

Within easy reach of the fortified towns of Elburg, Kampen and Zwolle, you can stay at the B&B Johannesberg. Beautifully located in the countryside, it offers many possibilities. At Johannesberg, we offer an extensive breakfast. Coffee, cappuccino or a latte macchiato? No problem for our excellent coffee machine. We use Fair Trade coffee beans from Netherlands’ No. 1, Peeze Coffee Roasters. All rooms are decorated with a lovely wall painting of oldtimers, painted by the artist Govert Muijs. The rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a rain shower. Each room has a small terrace with a table and chairs, which offers a lovely view of the countryside! The rooms that have a private entrance and small hall are all located in a new outbuilding. The beds are 1.60 m x 2.00 m and are dressed with single duvets and fine linen of Walra and Vandyck. During your stay, coffee and tea are free. Wifi is also for free.

Neighbourhood information

B&B Johannesberg is rural but still quite central. In the shadow of Zwolle and 3 km from the historic fortress of Elburg. Elburg has a beautiful old harbor. On youre bike(or car) you can explore the Veluwe. The sheep in Epe. The sheep walk into a very nice nature reserve.For culture you can go the Foundation in Zwolle, or the Anton Pieck Museum in Hattem. Or a day Walibi , Dolphinarium or Kroller Muller Museum in Arnhem etc.etc.,they are all in reach
