First of all, let's introduce ourselves: We are Herman Atsma and Marja Bos. Our B&B accommodation the "Luttelhof", owes its name to our village Luttelgeest, located in the Noordoostpolder. Our polder was completed in 1953 and is located 3.60 mtr. below sea level, but rest assured: we are well protected by heavy dikes and pumping stations. Luttelgeest is the second smallest village in the polder, and our accommodation is therefore characterized by peace and space. After a tiring journey, you can take a nice bath and / or shower with us. When you wake up after a wonderful and well-deserved night's sleep, your bedroom offers a view of our quiet village street and Catholic church. Did you know that our church is the only one in the Netherlands with a completely round tower? Our B&B has a private, romantic garden with a ruined terrace and waterfall. If desired, you can also enjoy your breakfast in our garden. Due to its location, our accommodation is also a great starting point for your excursions. Herman: Originally I was the 4th generation born and raised fairground operator. Until I was 7 I was always on tour with my parents. From the age of 8 I stayed with a foster family on a farm because of my school. After a year and a half of LTS I couldn't teach the teachers anything anymore, As is tradition, I started a fairground business at the age of 19 as an independent entrepreneur, and operated grab cranes in the Netherlands, and in later years I toured as a manager on a giant wheel in the former GDR. since 1998 i have been driving flowers full-time in france and italy. Marja: I was born and raised in the Brabant village of Veen, we had a warm and loving family: My father was a bus driver and my mother ran the household. After school I started working in healthcare at the age of 16. after my husband passed away, Herman and I got to know each other. Herman and his parents have been running accommodations since 1972. My work in healthcare has a lot in common with our accommodation: bringing pleasure and relaxation, and taking care of our guests. Herman and Marja
